Since I have a small wrist, I removed several links enough to cover the circumference of my wrist. But the links are big so they don't bend enough to be put back together.
But I didn't like the watch when I saw it in person. I didn't like the shiny chrome-looking parts. I have a Seiko titanium watch that has a brushed metal look. I prefer that instead.
